Luxurious Printed Scarf by Still Point Gallery & Boutique, "JED" French Percheron Draft Horse
$ 225.00
Still Point Gallery introduces its own new line of luxurious lightweight printed scarves made from a blend of soft cashmere. We've partnered with a specialty clothing manufacturer in northern India that works with clothing designers around the world. Providing the distinguishing character to these beautiful scarves are printed images selected from Geoff Baker's collection of fine art photographs. Original and even iconic scenes from great cities of the world, as well as his regional landscapes, comprise the collection, many of which have been exhibited in museums and held in private collections.
* "Jed" is a Percheron draft horse (approximately 2,000 lbs and 17 hands) that was/is beloved by students and staff of "Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center" in the rural township of South Russell, Ohio. The early onset of arthritis necessitated relocating him to Betsy Juliano's farm in Mesopotamia, Ohio about 30 miles east of Cleveland. Jed experienced significant depression upon leaving Fieldstone until Betsy acquired Dudley, a miniature donkey to keep him company. They coexist in the same stall where Dudley has asserted himself as the alpha male. Apart from the happy ending, we thought this black and white image of Jed's face, especially his eyelashes, would make a fabulous scarf.
