Luxurious Printed Scarf by Still Point Gallery & Boutique, LE RECUEILLEMENT (Contemplation) PARIS

Still Point Gallery introduces its own new line of luxurious lightweight printed scarves made from a blend of soft cashmere. We've partnered with a specialty clothing manufacturer in northern India that works with clothing designers around the world.  Providing the distinguishing character to these beautiful scarves are printed images selected from Geoff Baker's collection of fine art photographs. Original and even iconic scenes from great cities of the world, as well as his regional landscapes, comprise the collection, many of which have been exhibited in museums and held in private collections.

*The Latin Quarter on the Left Bank (River Gauche) provided an almost existential rendering for the scene. This area, perched on the southern side of the Seine, sits across the river from the Le Marais district, each tucked into its respective arrondissement, both in close proximity to Notre Dame. The image was captured in the early morning on the Rue de Bievre where one might imagine this solitary figure to be a contemporary evocation of a famous writer, artist or philosopher (perhaps the ghost of Sartre) who spent their time here in the last century.
