Luxurious Printed Scarf by Still Point Gallery & Boutique, Arcos de la Frontera, White Hill Towns of Spain
$ 225.00
Still Point Gallery introduces its own new line of luxurious lightweight printed scarves made from a blend of soft cashmere. We've partnered with a specialty clothing manufacturer in northern India that works with clothing designers around the world. Providing the distinguishing character to these beautiful scarves are printed images selected from Geoff Baker's collection of fine art photographs. Original and even iconic scenes from great cities of the world, as well as his regional landscapes, comprise the collection, many of which have been exhibited in museums and held in private collections.
* Out of "color" character with the rest of Arcos is a yellow facade at the base of this beautiful "White Hill Town" built up the side of a mountainous cliff in the 13th century. Rhondo, Jerez and other famous small towns dot this frontier (frontera) region of southern Spain overlooking the Bay of Cadiz and a short drive from the Strait of Gibralter, only eight miles from North Africa. The aesthetic influence of the Moors on the architecture, art and and general culture is beautiful and profound. We thought the distinctive earth colors of the building translated beautifully to the scarf.
